Hemp Depot Review

Hi, I’m Joe from Hemp Depot and I’m a BeanHo (bean hoarder)! from
I’ve been collecting seeds and growing for over 25 years. I love the plant… what can I say. The range of flavors and highs is mind-boggling and I just can’t seem to stop wanting to try more strains. With literally hundreds of moms, I have decided to release some crosses that I’ve made for myself, to the public for a limited release.

Hemp Depot

At Hemp Depot there will be some original work coming out in the next little while as well as some crosses with the Bubba, King, and OG kush. Not to forget the crosses with a killer Jack Herer, NL#5 x Haze, Iranian Indica, some old school Columbian Gold and a bunch of African strains I collected myself from the dark continent.
Stay Tuned!

Hemp Depot *** SSH Male
All seeds in this run were fathered by a vigorous and resinous SSH male, 2003 stock from Mr. Nice seeds. The male has proven not to be too dominant in the crosses (letting the mom’s special traits shine) as well as provide a nice range of killer phenos for a wide choice of mom selection. Being that the SSH is an unstable hybrid, most crosses will have a finishing time that varies by a few weeks and you may get the odd freaky Haze pheno and the odd freaky fast phenos… that’s part of the fun! On average, the male tends to add about a week to 10 days of flowering to most of the Indica moms and take a week off, most of the sativa moms. Ideally (but not necessarily) the plants should be grown to sexual maturity, then cloned. Rooted clones can be put into flowering with little or no veg time (saving the normal 1 to 2 week veg time). All the SSH crosses tend to be very vigorous and a bit stretchy. Perfect for screening with seed plants, or flowering short clones.

Hope you enjoy Hemp Depot!

  1. I ordered twice from these guys and everything went smoothly but on one order I had germination problems and smashed seeds.

  2. received seeds in timely manner; but no evidence of original seed provider.. also the seeds are very small.. I am not convinced that the seeds are authentic and I will not use them again..

  3. Beanho’s strains are righteous and unique. US postal morons demolished half of my order, Brad replaced free so I ordered some more. Several unique breeders at low prices, great customer service & communication, high quality from most, they can’t be responsible for BS genetics from “top dawg” breeders like Greenhouse, do your homework.

  4. I used to order more from here but the shipping has gotten slow and the stealth packaging isn’t as great. I did get my beans however and Hemp Depot has my respect. Great prices on some rare genetics. I recommend this seedbank.

  5. My order took quite a while after my notification mail. Good ole postal service. All 30 seeds from Joey weed and TGA germ’d and are well on the way to ‘sexing’. All plants are healthy and growing with vigor. This is my 3rd time with HD and will continue to use them.

  6. crappy seeds, 2 smashed, only 6 of the remaining 8 germed, 4 males and one hermi, go to attitude or worldwide, Joe said he would throw me a bone if I ordered from him again, lol fat chance.

  7. I have found him to be more reliable than others.

I also have found him to be more honest than others.

I hate to say it but I do have concerns as my germ rates havent been stellar and I would suggest he keeps his beans individually sealed, in a cool dry place, incase he’s not.

His prices are ok on domestic gear, but too high on some overseas gear, so I’d go with dr chonic for that stuff, fresher too.

I think his biggest set back is his name, sounds to close to “BC Bud depot” and holy christ, that place is the bane of the seed industry.

  8. Got 0% germination rate from Mighty Mite seeds (West Coast Seeds) I ordered from them. Got plenty of other seeds to germinate from other seed banks as well as my own seeds. Cost me over $80, not worth it obviously.
