Ok, I was on the waiting list to buy for 5 months, 5 FULL MONTHS. I almost ordered from another cheaper seedbank, but my good friend told me to wiat because he know how good the genetics were. I don;t know why he just didn’t make clones?
Elephant was the strain I purchased. I got it on sale and for freebies I got 30 more seeds. Of the 30 free seeds, I got 20 more elephant seeds and something called KMAK. They actually gave me a total of 32 Elephant Seeds ( the pack I originally Ordered, and I got 22 free Elephant ) I was almost concerned that they had shipped me so many expensive freebies, I thought if they even germinated, they might just be hemp because of the deal it seamed to be too good to be true. The KMAK freebies had 11 in the container with rice. I didn’t want to grow them all at once, I am just a personal grower that also shares with close friends.
So I planted 5 seeds of the elephant and 5 seeds of the KMAK. all 10 sprouted, 4 females of elephant and 3 females for KMAK. I harvested Late October 2012, and both strains were giants. KMAK has a wicked uplifting buzz, and Elephant buzz, well, it is just the best weed any of us had ever smoked. The weight dried bud from 7 females 22.3 Pounds fully slow cured dried.
I still have 23 seeds to grow!, BCseeds.com is by far the best seed bank. You do get what you pay for and more. I recommend not buying a strain for $80-$90, buy something for $400-+ and get the 30 free, and they will send you expensive kick-ass strains for free. The KMAK is so under-rated from reading its description. A diamond of pot. I would recommend this seed bank if you can handle waiting for their stock.
Speed of delivery 2 star, as I had to wait months and months for the stock to come before they could ship, that really sucked
I have been trying to order another pack of Warlock from bc seeds since my first order in 2009. The seeds I got were fine, all germinated, 7 out of 10 were females, and I grew pounds from these 7 females that I never even looked to order again for 2.5 years as I had so much bud for friends, family and personal use from just these 7 plants.
The problem is, it was the best pot I ever smoked and I wanted to buy more, but in 2011 the site was gone, and today it is up but I cannot place an order because they have no stock? I was furious, I got great results and I have been ripped off from other seed banks, so i wanted to make sure I could order from them again, but where did they go? I hope to see them back soon, I noticed at Christmas, their site was back up but they were sold out and I am on the waiting list, they emailed me I might have to wait a full 8 months before I can buy seeds again because they cannot keep up with demand. They said something about staying small to keep quality “high”, and today noticed they’re hiring??? I just don’t want to wait until July to buy beans form them, I will miss the Spring planting season, planting in July does me no good at all. Are there any other seed banks with the quality of bcseeds.com? that can deliver by May 1st at the latest, it’s already February 1st.

My elephant bud turned out fantastic and though it was pricey, I was given 30 free seeds and 10 of those were another pack of the high priced elephant and the other strains were KMAK and Rock Bud x AK47. All strains including the freebies were great, much above average from other seed banks I have ordered from in the past. I chose bcseeds.com because I didn’t want my seeds coming from oversea’s for safety and speed of delivery. Delivery was fast, no email or communication was necessary, the seeds all germinated and I got what I ordered. They treated me right and in return I give you my review based on my real experience. Its been over three years now since I placed my first EVER seed order online. I was NOT a newbie to growing cannabis then. I’ve been growing for over 30 years. I just had never ordered seeds online before.
Unfortunately, I stumbled onto BC Seeds to begin this learning curve. And I was totally sucked into their schpeel — ‘strongest marijuana on the planet’, ‘40% THC’, ‘1200+ gms yield per plant’,, yadayadayada.
I ordered seed. And to play it safe (I thought), my first order was just for one pack of something inexpensive (Big Mamma) to see if they’d really send me the goods. That pack did arrive in my mailbox. So… Over the next 3-4 months I ONLY ordered seed from them.
Thankfully I did NOT order anything in the 4-figure price category. But I did order a $500 pack of Elephant Bud (it was ‘On Sale’ at that price), and several other varieties in the $200-350 range along with a few cheaper varieties. All in all I spent ~ $3500 with BC Seeds over that 3-4 month period.
I always received the seeds. Sometimes it took longer than other times for them to reach my mailbox, but they did always arrive.
BUT — and a BIG BUT, too…
I had some issues/problems — seeds arriving that looked immature – white and pithy seeds that did NOT pass the pinch test. That is how 9 of the 10 seeds were in my Elephant Bud order as well as many of the other more expensive packs I ordered.
I would contact them and they would not reply, or would eventually reply and be as RUDE and downright Mean as heck. I DID finally get them to replace the Elephant Bud seeds. But with WHAT? I grew out the ONE good Elephant Bud seed in the original order and half of the replacement seeds. The Elephant Bud replacements they sent in NO WAY resembling the EB as described on the site, OR the EB plant from the one good seed in original pack (turned out female btw). The replacements took for EVER to finish flowering — like 75+ days — and were fairly weak and underwhelming plants overall. While the one EB plant from original pack took 45-47 days to finish once flowering began and looked exactly like the picture on the site.
They did NOT replace the EB pack with immature seeds with the REAL elephant bud. They sent me some crap seeds from some other variety, perhaps even scooped up seeds off the floor from what the plants grew out like.
Overall I have had underwhelming performance from all the varieties/seed I purchased from them, with at least half of the varieties NOT turning out to grow or look anything like the variety should.
The ONLY seeds I purchased from BCSeeds that grew well and performed like it says on the tin was the Big Mamma — a Big Bud hybrid, which BC Seeds said was an ‘Improved Big Bud’ in the description, and the cheapest pack of seeds I purchased from them. They grew and looked like an ‘improved’ Big Bud, finishing outdoors at my location (45N, Oregon) by end September. From three 6-foot plants (6 feet tall and near 6 feet wide) I harvested a total of 1077gms dried and trimmed of some awesomely nice smoke that my patients loved.
Thank goodness their site went offline shortly after the Elephant Bud fiasco. I started researching online and joining forums and learning a LOT about buying varieties in seed form – breeding, seedbanks (and there are a few very good ones out there), varieties and whats available in seed form versus clone only, and truckloads of other things.
Lots is happening in this very young industry with new breeders and varieties popping up all the time as well as seedbanks. But I do know that I would NEVER step foot into BC Seeds site again — its a trap for unsuspecting newbies and hopeful growers.
You can’t accuse me of never ordering from BC Seeds. You can’t accuse me of not growing out the seed I ordered from them.
I HAVE ordered their seed, and I HAVE grown out their seed. And I now deserve the right to say…
STAY AWAY! The entire BCSeeds site is a lie. Nothing on the site is factual. Except for the prices — The Prices are crazy and that’s a fact.
And just because they SEND you seed doesn’t make everything peachy keen and kosher. 80% of the time you get a mystery strain, NOT the strain you you ordered and paid for. You won’t know it until you grow them out (if you’re experienced enough to know how the variety is supposed to grow/look). UNLESS you can’t grow them out because you get white, pithy seed that you KNOW are not viable.
After reading this whole list of reviews on BCSeeds, I’m thinking that the few people who have posted a good review and nothing but HAPPINESS with them are (in order or probability):
1. BCSeed people sneaking in and writing their own glowing reviews
2. People who’ve ordered and gotten their seeds, but have not grown them out.
3. Totally inexperienced newbs.
4. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer — Just plain dumb.
BCSEEDS.com is NOT to be trusted. Its a well-known fact.
I believe you
When i saw this scam site was back up i had to write to warn all the newbs and uninformed. For your own sake please do your research and you will clearly see that BC SEEDS claims are completely rediculous. ASk yourself, if they have such fantastic strains why have they won zero awards? Why will no other seed banks carry their garbage seeds? Why is there no grow repors of their strains on reputable forums? No seeds are worth the absolutely insane prices they are asking. These people are crooks. Keep moving, they offer nothing but lies and disappointment.
I have a friend that has been growing Elephant Bud for a while and has been really pleased with the results. No one has tested the thc content, but it is hands down higher than the others coming out of the budroom. The original seed prices were high, but there have been a lot of clones since that seed pack was purchased and a LOT of amazing buds. I hadnt looked it up on line until I got my own Elephant Bud clones. Cant believe all the negativity out there in the cyberworld. Oh well, for those who took the chance on the Bud, we have plants and clones. My friend and most others who grow the elephant dont normally let go of the clones. It took me a couple years to get mine. They are very robust and thriving. I am happy with them, and have always been pleased with my friends harvest. I intend to keep the Elephant alive in my grow for years to come. I havent had a problem with any BC orders other than the prices. Thats why you get friends together and order as a group. I think most seed companies list the yield and thc content based on the absolute best growing coditions. No two growers ever get the same results with different lights and grow room conditions.
Look I don’t see how people bash something when 90% of the people who say its a scam site have never tried to buy something from them. I have bought 6 different types of seeds including feminized white widows that all grew perfect. I ordered all my stuff at different times in 2009 and for them all in the mail within a week. I also got a bunch of free seeds from them too which I still have. So to all the haters and to the lazy Ass stoners that can’t do anything for themselves and just bite off other poser reviews, the BCseeds.com site did me right and didn’t give me the shaft and they always replied to my emails. This 100% fact for me and no BS or hating from me.
